-peek/a/boo- (dedicated to R.Newday)

*dedicated to R.Newday*

i glimpsed him...
glimpsed the eternity that
was his makeup...
i danced in the moments
between the upbeat and
downbeat of his
hearts conducting...he
was...
i mean...
dude..
was like...i mean....you know...
the kind of speechlessness that
leaves you...well...you
know...
speechless?
i was
blinded by the
purity of
his
being...
deafened ears
hungrily
ate up each
sound...each rhythm he
threw my
way...
at
evening-tide
id
sneak away with the
sound of his
blood singing
melodies
all at once
operatic
with
strange blues coated cadences...
id sneak
away...i
said, id
sneak away to my place...
my private place
and id
carry him....
take his
image...
take it and
draw it...
take it and
taste it...
take it
and sing it
take it
and walk it...
i wld
take his image and
sit it on my
ripened tongue where
in tangerine whispers id sing
him over and over
in negro-spiritual
type refrains
over and over...
i wld
high priest him and get
high...
im
talkin. hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiighhhhhhhhhhhhh high
off his scent...
mannnnnnnnnnn
his scent wld
have me
floatin,' have me
chantin'
old wives tales in
the key of
laughter...
i'd inhale him and hold
him captive in my lungs....
had to keep the
taste...
wanted to keep that
taste...
his taste...
him
planted and seeded in my tongue...
established and
rooted in my soul...you know?
...i glimpsed him...
glimpsed the eternity that
was his makeup...
i danced in the moments
between the upbeat and
downbeat of his
hearts' conducting...he
was...
i mean...
dude...
was like...i mean....you know...
the kind of speechlessness that
leaves you...well...you
know...
speechless?

  1. This was both mad beautiful in its coveting nature, sincerely poetic in its love object imagery... & then just a lil creepy in the Jeffrey Dalmer sense, son.

I know where you were going & you went there. Love/lust has all those wonderful/obsessive qualities... & slowly we must learn to find a place to put them.

    Very visionary piece, son!

    One.
