im back...

Its around 1015 am and im back from my consultation. Met with Francis and we talked. He said his heart isnt really in fitness, but other things...so he gave me my workout system called the 300 work out; doing four different exercises 25 reps each in 3 sets and starting off with doing them twice a week. These are designed for a full body workout consisting of jumping jacks, lunges, push ups, and suicides. Hsis main focus was the old saying 'Abs are made in the kitchen, not thru exercise' meaning my weight loss etc starts with whar im eating. He was like with all your foods, stay as close to their natural as possible; no more sodas, v-8 splash, apple, cranberry juices (corn syrup/sugar), nothing but water and tea w/o sugar, use honey to sweeten it. Chicken thighs instead of breasts, lots of salad, but not iceberg lettuce, no store bought salads, make my own, no italian, thousand islands, ranch dressing; make my own vinegrette with vinegar and olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary etc none of the store bought seasonings in the can like Tony Chacherie's etc apples like the ones founf on a real apple tree: they are usually dull and smaller than the store bought ones which are larger and shinier (coated in wax). No more cereals like Captain Crunch, Fruit Loops etc.too much sugar, no more flavored oatmeals (instant) but regular oatmeal made in the pot and use real cinamon and raisins and honey to sweeten. No more chips all day or once a day; but I can have chips once a week as well as sweets once a week. Said that its not about working out its about changing my eating habits and what I consume. Its about eating what I know I can burn off. Was told that just with a salad and chicken thighs (fresh) I can loose 6 to 7 pounds in a week. Said I could burn fat while I sleep and its done thru exercise. Said I needed to internalize and get the 3 D's, Discipline, Dedication, and Determination; i agree. It was interesting, and as I approach thirty i know I need to be in shape & this time is critical! Lets do it! ~bloodspeaks
